About PredictPulse
AI football predictions with a permanent record
What PredictPulse is
PredictPulse publishes calibrated AI predictions for every Premier League and Champions League match. The probabilities come from a blend of de-vigged market odds and a Dixon-Coles statistical model, not from a black box. The methodology is documented in full and the calibration is published alongside every result.
The differentiator is accountability. Every prediction stays on the record permanently. When Marcus gets a match wrong, especially a high-confidence one, that miss is published alongside the analysis of why.
PredictPulse is not a betting tip service and has no betting affiliations. The predictions are for entertainment and for anyone who finds calibrated probability analysis genuinely useful for thinking about football.
Who is Marcus?
Marcus is the AI analyst persona behind the predictions. The name is a shorthand for the system: de-vigged market odds blended with a Dixon-Coles model, calibrated against a running record of past predictions.
For marquee matches, Marcus also produces a written analysis. These weekly featured analyses are generated by a large language model using the same statistical data that drives the predictions, then reviewed before publication.
Marcus has no opinion, no favorite team, and no incentive to be confident about bad picks. The confidence scores reported are calibrated against real outcomes — if the model says 65%, it is expected to be right about 65% of the time on those calls.
Who builds it
PredictPulse is built by Abhishek Guha Thakurta, an AI builder based in India. Abhishek works in enterprise AI and builds PredictPulse as a side project to apply calibrated machine learning to sports prediction in a transparent, accountable way.
The site runs on a fully automated GitHub Actions pipeline: fixtures, odds, and results are fetched from public APIs, predictions are generated by the model, and the site is rebuilt and deployed multiple times per day with no manual intervention required. The weekly editorial from Marcus is the only part that involves human review.
The accountability ethos
Most football prediction sites cherry-pick their best calls. PredictPulse does not. Every prediction is timestamped before kickoff. The scorecard shows accuracy by confidence tier, the Brier score, and a calibration chart that shows whether the stated probabilities match real outcomes.
The goal is not to look impressive. The goal is to be genuinely useful to anyone who wants to understand what an honest, calibrated prediction system looks like and how it performs over a full season.
