1. Who we are
PredictPulse (predictpulse.one) is operated by Abhishek Guha Thakurta, an individual based in India. For privacy enquiries, contact: abhigt.jumech@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect
PredictPulse is a static site with no user accounts, no login, and no forms that collect personal data directly. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information.
Data collected indirectly through third-party services is described in sections 3-5 below.
3. Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. This collects aggregated, anonymised data including page views, session duration, device type, and approximate geographic location (country/city level). We do not use analytics data for advertising profiling.
Google Analytics sets cookies on your browser. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
PredictPulse displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this and other sites on the internet.
We use Google's certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) and Google Consent Mode v2 to collect your consent before personalised advertising cookies are placed. You can manage your preferences at any time via the consent banner or the Privacy settings link in our footer.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
5. Cookies
We use the following categories of cookies:
Required for the site to function. No consent needed. These include cookies used by our CDN (Cloudflare Pages).
Google Analytics cookies (e.g. _ga, _gid). Require consent under GDPR. These are not set until you accept analytics cookies.
Google AdSense cookies used for ad personalisation. Require consent under GDPR. Non-personalised ads are served if you decline.
6. Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or a jurisdiction with equivalent data protection law, you have rights including: access to your data, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection to processing.
If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP) provides similar rights to access, correct, and erase your personal data.

7. Data retention
We do not retain personal data directly. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months per the default GA4 retention setting. You can request deletion at any time.
8. Third-party links
PredictPulse links to affiliate partners (Ko-fi, Amazon Associates India, JioHotstar via EarnKaro). These sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or data practices.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site's features change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
